Gretchen S. Wilcox founded G.S. Wilcox & Co. in 1994, becoming the first woman in the nation to open a commercial real estate mortgage banking firm. Gretchen has grown the firm to become one of the most successful independently owned commercial mortgage banking firms in the country with a loan servicing portfolio of over $1.8 billion. She has regularly been designated as the top loan producer for numerous local, regional, and national lenders. Additionally, the firm still remains the only female founded commercial mortgage banking firm in the nation.
Gretchen remains actively involved in all aspects of the business and guides the team towards achieving any objectives their clients set forth. Gretchen is, or has also been, involved in numerous industry organizations throughout her career. She has served on the National Board of NAIOP and was a Trustee for its New Jersey Chapter for 15 years. Gretchen also previously served on the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce for more than a decade and has been involved with the Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce, IOREBA, ULI, the Advisory Board for the Rutgers Center for Real Estate, and the Mortgage Bankers Association. Furthermore, she has regularly been recognized by numerous publications, to include BINJE, NJBIZ, ROI-NJ, and Real Estate NJ, as one of the most influential people in New Jersey real estate and business. In 2025, she was featured in BINJE’s Best Commercial Real Estate Leaders and was also included in ROI-NJ’s Influencer Power List in Banking. In 2024, she was featured as one of the top 60 most influential people in business in New Jersey by ROI-NJ and was also named as the most influential woman in business in the state.
Due to her robust track record and status as a trail blazer in the industry, Gretchen is regularly featured as a speaker/panelist at numerous industry/state events. She has also been the recipient of some the industry’s top awards which include the Financial Tribute Award (Boy Scouts of America, 2008), Community Impact Award (Crossing Boarders, 2009), the Pillar Award (NAIOP, 2011), Industry Service Award (NAIOP, 2019), Legacy Award (Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce, 2022), Hall Fame Inductee (NAIOP, 2022), the Champions of the C-Suite Award (ROI-NJ/NJ Chamber of Commerce, 2023), and the Service to the Industry Award (Monmouth University’s Kislak Real Estate Institute, 2025).
Gretchen is equally passionate about helping child-victims of domestic violence. In 1998 she created The Daniel J. Wilcox Memorial Fund, in honor of her late husband, to send children to The Daniel J. Wilcox Camp Hope in partnership with Jersey Battered Women’s Service (JBWS). Gretchen is a graduate of Babson College with a double major in Finance and Quantitative Methods.

As a Partner at G.S. Wilcox & Co, Bridget is responsible for assisting with managing the firm’s operations and originating debt and equity financings. She has originated and closed over $1 billion in commercial real estate loans across various asset classes. Since joining the firm in 2019, she has consistently grown the firm’s client base and established new lending relationships, playing an instrumental role in growing the firm’s servicing portfolio to over $1.8 billion. She has been featured in several industry publications as a key player in New Jersey commercial real estate and is involved with numerous industry organizations. Additionally, Bridget received the prestigious Rising Star Award from NAIOP NJ and was recognized as one of the most influential people in commercial real estate in New Jersey by ROI-NJ in 2024 and by BINJ in 2025.
Prior to joining G.S. Wilcox & Co., Bridget worked at Loews Corporation and UBS in New York City. Bridget is very involved with the local community and serves in several philanthropic organizations including the Jersey Women’s Battered Shelter (JBWS) and Morris Arts. Bridget holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University, where she captained the women’s golf team. She resides with her husband Glen and two young daughters, Scarlett and Margot, in Bernardsville, NJ.

He is charged with expanding the firm’s client relationships as well as leading several new initiatives for the firm. Since joining G.S. Wilcox & Co. in 2016, he’s consistently grown the firm’s client base and established new lending relationships, playing an instrumental role in growing the firm’s servicing portfolio to $1.8 billion. Prior to joining G.S. Wilcox & Co., he worked as a financial analyst in the Institutional Properties Group at CBRE and at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Program Analyst in the Financing and Futures Department.
Wesley is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in New Jersey and holds a leadership position with the New Jersey Chapter of NAIOP where he serves as a Trustee. He also serves on the boards of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and the Kislak Real Estate Institute at Monmouth University. Additionally, he has regularly been recognized by numerous publications to include BINJE, NJBIZ, ROI-NJ, and Real Estate NJ, as one of the most influential people in New Jersey real estate and business. In 2025 he was recognized as a leader in finance by NJBIZ and was also featured in BINJE’s Best Commercial Real Estate Leaders. As Principal of the firm, Al is in charge of underwriting, origination development and IT management. He oversees all executive summaries and loan submissions and acts as liaison between the borrower and lender from application to commitment. Al is also responsible for keeping track of the local real estate markets.
Al has been with the firm since 1997, and has worked in commercial banking since 1989. A licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the state of New Jersey and a graduate of Saint Peter’s College with a BS degree in Economics, Al resides in Morris County with his wife and two children.

David has been a Principal since 1998 and provides advice and placement of commercial real estate capital to clients who include some of the region’s leading private owners, REITs and funds. David credits his success in this industry to the relationships fostered on both sides of the transactions.
He is a graduate of Samford University and a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in New Jersey. David is active with IOREBA, NAIOP and ICSC. He is also involved with Friends of the Upper Delaware River, an advocacy group working for the preservation of this great resource.

As an Associate at G.S. Wilcox & Co., Will is responsible for originating debt and equity opportunities as well as assisting the firm’s other originators on their financings. During his time at the firm, he has managed over $825 million across 41 mortgage transactions from underwriting to closing for the firm’s originators. He also helps manage and expand upon G.S. Wilcox & Co.’s lending network. Will began gravitating towards Real Estate Finance after shadowing his brother at Monarch Investment & Management Group.
He graduated in 2017 from Bergen Catholic High School and in 2021 cum laude from Bucknell University. At Bucknell, he earned a BSBA in Accounting & Finance with a concentration in Finance and coursework in Real Estate and Data Analytics. During Will’s Junior spring semester, he studied abroad in Prague, Czech Republic. He is currently a Master’s candidate at New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.

He brings over 15 years of experience to the firm, with a strong background in operational finance in various industries including professional services and manufacturing.

As Assistant Vice President Loan Closings & Servicing Nicole coordinates all aspects of the closing process once a deal has been committed through closing. She handles the company’s legal document review and works within the servicing department to handle various loan servicing duties including insurance, UCCs, post-closing obligations, loan events, and the annual inspection process. Nicole began her real estate career working at Max Spann Real Estate & Auction Co. throughout college followed by a long-standing position at The Silverman Group as their Director of Project Management.

As Loan Servicing Analyst, Dan oversees loan operations, ensuring accuracy in financial tasks, and supporting compliance through certification verification and audit assistance. This includes tasks like bank reconciliations, loan payments, escrow analysis, system updates, report creation, loan event processing and other loan servicing related responsibilities. Dan started his career in personal banking, then transitioned to consumer loan processing, and later expanded his expertise as a commercial credit analyst, underwriting both C&I and CRE deals.
Dan graduated from Drew University in 2014 with an Economics degree with a focus in econometrics. He resides in Morris County with his fiancée and two orange cats, and in his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, cycling, and gardening.
