Our History
G.S. WILCOX was founded with the goal of becoming one of the premier independently owned commercial mortgage banking firms in the country. Capitalizing on our experience and growth in personnel, we were able to assemble a complementary group of lenders, enabling us to offer a wide variety of loan products and services.
To date, we have successfully completed transactions for over 300 clients and closed more than 2,000 loans, with a deal volume of over $7.5 billion spread across more than 200 different lenders. Our servicing portfolio is currently in excess of $2.1 billion. We have closed loans in over 20 different states, indicative of the nationwide scope we offer through our network of lenders.

Our Involvement With REFA
Created in 1979, REFA (Real Estate Finance Associates) is a national organization of nine independently owned mortgage banking firms. REFA firms share information daily, which allows us to effectively compete with the larger national firms.
